Final product!
(I covered the inside, which used to be entirely cream colored and stained, with a floral pattern I bought from Jo Ann Fabrics)

I bought a suitcase at a second-hand store a few weeks ago for $5.
It has the same shape, handle, and locking mechanism as this:
The color is a swish of browns, old fashioned looking, something a grandfather would have..anyway, the inside is disgusting.
It has marks and stains, so, I went to jo-anne-fabrics to find some cute prints to line inside with.
